About the first book

Anyaa

“Anyaa”, tells untold stories of emotions, ethics, sensibilities that go hidden, trivialised, unseen, ignored in day to day life but are vital and important. The characters in stories point out the things that are seemingly small but are very important in people’s lives. Saakshi of “Rakshabandhan” and Shubhi of “Wardi” both question and refuse to follow the definitions of traditions and feminism and believe in doing what they consider right. Sometimes characters are found stuck in the pre defined norms of the society and are able to see or feel the wrongs but do not know the way out. Whether Sharmaji of “Firni” or Veena of “Samjhuta”. “Anyaa” brings out the reflections of unnoticed virtues of human nature.

About the second book

Misty Horizons

‘Misty Horizons’, an anthology of short stories, brings out the changing norms of our society in the present times. The characters in the stories are dealing with ‘not so well-defined’ ways of leading their life. When a society passes through a phase of transition, sometimes older generation gets confused with their role in the life of younger generation as the society is rapidly moving towards individualism. The characters deal with the deep and latent emotions. Stories also depict a younger generation, that believes of having a new path at the horizon, which looks misty at present.
